Sheila Lamb’s stories have appeared or are forthcoming in JMWW, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Monkeybicycle, Referential Magazine, and elsewhere. Her short story Swim was nominated for the Pushcart prize.
She holds an M.Ed. from George Mason University and an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte.
She’s an assistant editor with Santa Fe Writers Project‘s journal and a contributing blogger to Write On, Read On and The Creative Writing MFA Blog.
Sheila writes across a wide variety of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and educational curricula. A former history teacher, she has traveled throughout Ireland and participated in the Achill Archaeology Field School. Take a look at her published curricula, favorite lesson plans, and projects.
She’s now a librarian and creative writing instructor. Sheila is working on a collection of short stories as well as a historical fiction novel-in-progress.
